I just upgraded my Mayfair/GPX to T5.2-410 VMS/DECWINDOWS and found
something strange. The size of the usable window shrunk on VR290
by about 10%. ie. That is the total usable area on my screen is
missing about 1/2 inch around the edges??
It looks like the size of the DECterm windows also shrunk
proportianaly. Is there some SYSGEN parameter that is a muck?
HELP

Did you power off and on your monitor between upgrades? I would have field service check your monitor as the first course of action. Bill | |||||

Just to close on this it was a bad VR290 that had its screen shrink.
After this I saw one other on my floor do the same thing..
