505.0. "Insensitive Scroll Bars?" by HGOVC::KENBERKUN (Klaatu Barato Nikto) Thu Mar 30 1989 07:57

I am trying to set my scroll bars not sensitive. When I do so the
slider indeed becomes insensitive, but the little pointy arrows at the
ends stay sensitive.

Are they seperate widgets that I have to set insensitive? Or am I
once again missing the obvious...

Thanks in advance,

This is something the toolkit should do for you, and I believe will be fixed
in V2. For now, call XtSetSensitive rather than XtSetValues. This should
take care of it.

In fact, there is 3 widgets: 1 for the slider and 2 others for the
    arrows!

In V2, it will only create widgets for the arrows if you specify
    a value for DwtNtranslations1 or DwtNtranslations2. Otherwise,
    it just draws the arrows.

(a widget saved, is some memory and a window earned...)

Gee, and I was enjoying having Xfish swim around in the arrow buttons....

You must have little fish. Only about half of the default
one shows up in an arrow window. But the default fish does
fit nicely into the horizontal scroll bar.
