    Is there a notes conference for DECwindows mail?  If so, maybe someone
    can direct me there.
    
    The on-line help documentation states that when you delete or move a
    message that it is actually not deleted or moved until you close the
    folder.  However, this is not always true.  I haven't been able to
    figure out under what circumstances it works and doesn't work.
    
    Yesterday, I was cleaning out my inbox, deleting and moving messages,
    and then I exited MAIL.  When I came back into MAIL, everything was
    back the way it was before the house cleaning.  (I wasn't happy about
    having to go through 139 mail messages again.)
    
    From now on, when I do housecleaning, I'll use the command line version
    of MAIL.  Can anyone tell me what happened?
