412.0. "MOUSE TAKEN OVER BY NOTES... :-(" by IOSG::WDAVIES (Winton Davies 7-830-4188) Thu Mar 16 1989 07:57
Ok, I'm really miffed... I'm running decwindows, then setting host to
our main cluster, to use notes/allin1 etc. The mangler hasn't put DWs
up on it yet, but has version 2 of Vaxnotes. This now starts using
the mouse to click around the selection, and open windows, even though
I put notes/nodisplay. Why am I annoyed you say ? well I'd like to use
my mouse to cut text out of the notes window and in to a command line
etc. eg copying file specs. Has anyone got any idea how I can convince
notes that my mouse is to be used with decwindows, not notes ?

With the logical TPU$COMMAND set to the file COM:TPU$COMMAND.COM

| By the way, the command to get the TPU interface is now NOTES/NODECWINDOWS
in the later baselevels.
