397.0. "Dimming text within SText" by ULTIM8::HSU () Mon Mar 13 1989 18:13

In dimming a simple text widget, I would also like to dim the text
that is typed in that widget. When I do dim the SText widget (by
setting DwtNsensitive to false) the text inside doesn't dim with
the widget. Is there something that I need to do to dim the text,
or is that just the way it is?

SHPLOG::DECWINDOWS_PROGRAMMING would seem by far the best conference in
    which to persue this query.

RE:.1

Concerning which conference to post notes in (and other ratholes)...

Given that other questions of this type have been asked here before,
and that these questions do not violate the intent stated in note 1.0,
this conference seems perfectly adequate for the base-note question.
(If we're going to get really picky, the question belongs in the
CLT::DECWTOOLKIT, since it pertains to a specific toolkit widget :-)

Hmmmm, well I considered putting the base note in DECWTOOLKIT, but
i didn't know of it was a bug or not. Since 1.0 said that this is
the place to find out how to do things I thought I'd ask how to
dim text here. If the base note should really go in
DECWINDOWS_PROGRAMMING, what kind of notes belong in this
    conference?
