Due to the work I am currently doing, I had to upgrade to VMS T5.2. The baselevel I am running is T5.2-40I. Usually I start 5 terminals when I startup my session. Since the upgrade it won't allow me to do that anymore. I get 4 terminals and on the fifth one I get a little window, which says: remote node unknown. I have no idea which remote node it thinks that is unknown, and so the question in here, is this something which needs to QARed, or is it something I am doing wrong ? Julian.

This happened to me too, just after I booted my T5.2 node for the first time. I waited about 30 seconds and tried again, and it worked. I wondered if it was waiting for the local node to become defined in the network database. However, this sounds like something worth entering a QAR about. Steve | |||||

The remote node unknown has already been QAR'ed. The fix is in field test update of T5.2. |
