Following occurs to the session manager when I try to open a DECterm
emulator window from the session manager.

I am running VMS 5.1 and DECw 5.1.

Does somebody saw the same behaviour.

In case it is a resource problem which system resources are critical
for the DECterm emulator ?

BTW, I forgot to mention I am a newcomer to DECwindows, maybe I missed the
appropriate notes entry in this conference, in case this is true
please forgive me.

Thanks for your help

-Uwe

    After investigations I discovered:

GBLPAGES was the resource which let the DECterm emulator and the
    	session manager crash.

This problem occured after installing some other layered products.
I would like to see a better error message signaled by the
session manager in case there are not enough global pages
      	available.

    Thanks
