No, you are not experiencing Deja Vu...
I have obtained the sources for Kriegspiel, a chess variant for
X-windows in which 2 players play chess against each other without
being able to see the opposing pieces. This is normally achieved (if
anyone has ever done this) by setting up a wall between the 2 players.
A referee has a board with all the pieces on it and indicates to the
players whether or not they are attempting a legal move, etc...
Looks like it would be real fun to try... I prepared a kit with the
sources in CVG""::WORK1:[CAMPANELLA.KITS]KRIEGSPIEL.BCK (a backup
saveset). The sources are for UNIX, and must be ported for VMS.
Anyone who wants to is willing to give it a shot.
If you are successfull, please make up a new saveset with the new
sources, a procedure to build them, and announce the new kit.
