    I need help in getting values from a list box.  I would like to
    get the compound string of the item selected and sometimes I would
    like to get an item based  on its position in the list box.
    
    For example" get the item that is selected.  (what about multiple
    selections?)
    
    or
    
    "get item 4" 
    
    I remember that when doing a fetch set values on a list box there
    were 3 required resources to place in the argument list.  Is there
    such a restriction on getting values from a list box.
    
    Any help is much appreciated.  If you need more information just
    say so and I will provide.
