On August 4, 1988, the press releases went out that we intended to
license XUI to independent software vendors for inclusion on
    non-Digital platforms.

Has this publicly stated intention been withdrawn or modified?

| Craig (SMURF::)Lamont of ULTRIX Product Management is handling this.
ISV's desiring this should go through their sponsoring PMG's (Product
Marketing Groups) or through the 800-DEC-ISVN tel. # (run by Steve
Tocman's/Mike Mancuso's Independent Software Vendor Group) to get this
    source code kit.

My understanding from Craig, is that his is a low-volume interim
solution, available only until OSF's MOTIF product is available
    sometime this Summer.

| I'll be sending all of this to Craig Lamont in a moment. (And if a get
his response, and his permission to post, I will do so here)

But does anyone know how sales reps and basically the public are going
    to learn of this?

I mean how does an ISV who saw the press stories six months ago learn
    the procedures for obtaining XUI?
