Further to my note 107 I would like to know if it is possible
to "scroll" a window of text, rather than clear the window and
rewrite the text. Also, can I optimise my i/o by writing, say,
10 lines of text in one call, instead of by 10 separate calls.

draw the text that is "scrolling in".
