Hi !! An important client of us builds an application of a scrolled window containing hundreds of simple text widgets. Is there any possibility to set the widgets to behave as in overstrike mode. Using select and pending_delete attribute is cumbersome. The last straw is that they said : " Sunview has a flag for this". So the question is whether anybody checked this and has a solution :-) Hanoch Harel

Is it so difficult to understand or there is no public interest
in it or maybe its so dumb you all are overwhelmed by it :-)

We left it out on purpose. The combination of variable spaced fonts and pending delete seemed to be good arguments for not having it. It is something that could be added in the future. | |||||
