The MIT X Consortium currently has out to public review a document called the "Inter-Client Communication Convention Manual" (ICCCM or IC�M). This document describes the "standard" way to do cut and past, to talk to window managers, to deal with colormaps, etc. A copy of this document is to be found in VMSKIT::DISK$SYSKITS:[PUBLIC.DECWINDOWS.specs]ICCCM.PS No, I don't have it in ANY form except postscript. The one on VMSKIT is dated 13-Jan. It also contains mailing address to which comments can be sent. This is still a draft version. I just copied the cover letter over to vmskit which contains the changes since the last draft. Jackie | |||||
