Hi, Customer running VTX V6.0 on VAX/VMS V6.1 reports the following problem: Customer starts up the Workbench and selects the available menu structure and selects the UPDATE button. This results in the error message Errors occurred during UPDATE processing. See the error listing above: The error listing looks like: Image file error for MENU IVP-NIEUWS - file not found. After this the customer has removed the above menu. However the Update action still results in the same error. Althought if the same page is looked up via the LOCATE function than the result is Error fetching selected page. A page with the specified page name was not found.. So it looks like there's some inconsistancy in the VTX$WBSRV_WCF.VTX file. Correct ? Any idea how to fix this. Thanks, Martin

Hi, some more information. The missing file has been created using WPS-PLUS and printed via VTX$QUEUE. Customer has printed the same document again to VTX$QUEUE and had recreated the page in the Workbench and could now succesfully updates the infobase. The only problem which remains at the moment is that there are two pages with the same name of whom the original can't be deleted. Anybody has an idea how to remove this page. Martin | |||||

Martin, Is the customer using the Workbench Graphical Interface (WBGI) or the Command Line (WBCL) ? In WBCL, pages are specified as page_name:duplicate number (see section 3.3.1 in V6.2 Information providers guide). >Image file error for MENU IVP-NIEUWS - file not found. It seems to me that the problem here is that the menu is there in Workbench but that the associated image file is not there In WBCL, the command MODIFY has a qualifier /IMAGE_FILE which allows you to change the image file associated with that page. Also, since you have added a second page correctly, you should be able to delete that page by specifying the duplicate page num (in this case 1) so that the page you want to delete is "IVP-NIEUWS":1. You may want to be careful whether you want to delete all the menu pages under this page (by using the /STRUCTURE qualifier) Ronan | |||||
