| My take on it is that it is just a rumor. I've heard it before
and the attribution was to a reasonable source. Recent info here
though, indicates low probability. So relax.
BTW the rumor as I originally heard it was:
1. KO out by Oct 6th
2. Mitsubishi to buy Dec and to give 17,000 employees
2 years pay and out the door.
and I don't believe that one either. Your mileage may vary.

PLEASE DISTRIBUTE TO ALL DIGITAL COLORADO SPRINGS EMPLOYEES
*DIGITAL CONFIDENTIAL*
Public Relations has received calls from Digital employees who say that they
have heard from other Digital employees who saw CNN broadcast a story
indicating that Digital was or is in the process of being sold. This
supposed broadcast also indicated that Ken Olsen was retiring at this time.
Both alleged stories are false, and CNN has confirmed that they did not put
a Digital article in their news agenda.
