| I got mail from Andrew with directions (even though I've been there
more times than I care to mention - it was a favorite MEIS going away spot.)
It doesn't look like a chinese restaurant. It's a dark brown colonial-looking
building.
Here are the directions from the bottom of Andrew's mail:

First, the restaurant is actually in Billerica, not Chelmsford.
Directions to Hunan Garden at Manning Manse
-------------------------------------------
From Route 3 North or South, take Route 129 EAST (toward North Billerica).
[The Route 129 exit is south of Rt 495, and north of Rt 128.] The restaurant
is on the RIGHT less than 1 mile from Route 3. If you get to Route 3A, you
missed it. If you pass Apollo Computer, you are going the wrong way on Route
129.

| West on Route 2 from where?
If you're inside Route 128, then take Route 2 west to Route 128 north
to Route 3 north to the Route 129 exit.
If you're between Routes 128 and 495, then take Route 2 in either
direction until you intersect one or the other, take that road north
until you get to Route 3; if you're on 128, take 3 north. If you're
on 495, take 3 south.
If you're west of 495, then turn around and take Route 2 east to 495,
495 north to Route 3 south.

Directions to The Hunan Gardens (from New Hampshire):
Hunan Gardens Manning Manse Restaurant
56 Chelmsford, North Billerica 508-663-4282
The Hunan Gardens is a Chinese restaurant about 3/4 miles
from CTC, on the border between Chelmsford and Billerica.
1. Follow route 3 south to route 129 in Massachusetts.
(Rt 129 is one or two miles inside of Rt 495.)
2. Take exit #29 onto route 129.
3. Turn right at the top of the exit ramp (there is a traffic
light here). This puts you on Rt 129.
4. Go about 1/2 or 3/4 miles on Rt 129. The Hunan Gardens will
be on your right. It's an *old* one story building, around a
sharp curve, partially obscured by trees. There is a 3 by 4
foot sign by the road side, but it is not obvious so keep an
eye out.
