    A month or so ago I got a flyer in the mail about NEWMR (New
    England Women's Music Retreat).  As always, the festival is on 
    Labor Day weekend, from Aug 30 - Sept 2.

    The best news is that NEWMR will be about 2 hours away from Boston this
    year. I have directions to the site, contact me if you would like them.
    After making a 6+ hours trip down to NEWMR last year, this is a welcome
    change. 

    Here's what's on the brochure (you can use the registration part
    to send in to NEWMR if you'd like).

    Please be aware that this is a **Women Only event**.  If you want to
    discuss that as an issue, start another note for that topic.
     
    

    You might notice that alot of the performer's names may be new to
    you...this was true last year, but I found that many of the
    'unknowns' were really excellent...so don't be put off by the lack
    of "big names".
    
    I assume that there will also be a day stage, but it appears

    check only -- no personal checks -- payable to NEWMR. 

    Registration received after Aug 20 will be held at the gate, and
    you will be charged Gate Price. Include a legal size SASE for
    confirmation and complete brochure.

    Gate Price:  Full weekend $200.  One Day $60.  


    NOTE: Add $20 workshift depoit to all ticket prices.  Money will
    be refunded on site at completion of workshift.
