Johnnie Depp's pretty sexy. Even Edward Scissorhands was adorable.
Woof!
I wouldn't give a "woof award" to a woman, but Catherine Deneuve is my
idea of female perfect. Classy, quiet, cool, impossibly beautiful. And
knows her way around a wine list.
I like that skinny leader of the Black Crowes, too. "Hard to Handle"?
I'll take a shot at it. Woof!

to it.
Jeff Bridges - the body, the smile, the ponytail (I'd *really* like to
be able to...) (but *not* the brother...sorry) :-)
Anyway...
Wesley Snipes (oh, my god, I don't *believe* how hot this guy
looks.....well, if I ever had a chance I'd do just what that
secretary in the movie did...)
Kurt Russell - great body, great smile
David Bowie - I rented a video of his Serious Moonlight Concert and by

| Woody Allen and Michael Gambon, an English actor who sometimes appears on
BBC stuff seen on PBS. Also, a Scottish actor who appears in the same arena.
He played the MP in Traffik and recently the boss in Truly, Madly, Deeply,
still playing at Copley Square.
Also, the guy who plays Inspector Morse. I suspect he would be good-looking
enough even for you, Lorna :-) But then again, I also like Leo McKern, the
guy who plays Rumpole of the Bailey! So what if he weighs 200 pounds! Not
to rathole, but Rumpole of the Bailey must be the funniest program
on television. This Sunday at 10:00 p.m. on Channel 2 is the last show in
the series (Mystery). The British are truly superb at parodying themselves.
Rumpole quotes poetry, defends the innocent, mocks the upperclass boobys
(they give new meaning to this word) who are his colleagues, and calls his
controlling wife "she who must be obeyed." I have thought of buying a VCR
just to tape Rumpole. I hear there's a Rumpole Society in California. I
join in a minute if it were on this coast.

| So there we were, my best friend and I, two dykes, me with a sort of
detached appreciation of the male body, her being almost totally
oblivious to their existence, walking through the mall.
She is in the middle of telling me something, something reasonably
interesting and compelling, when *he* walks past...
Both our jaws drop to our chests...
Our conversation ceases entirely, forgotten...
We stop walking...
We stare openly, turning our heads as he walked by, shamelessly in
awe...
He was young, perhaps 19...dark brown hair, long and silky and flowing,
down to his waist. he was slim in the way that only 19 year olds can
be, broad shouldered...he had dark eyebrows and dark eyes, and strong,
interesting features, like Val Kilmer (a major woof, if I do say so
myself)...he looked like the sort of brooding, dark, artitistic type
that sends me (and Jody! :-) through the roof...and he was in animated
coversation with a beautiful woman of about the same age...
And then he was outo f sight, through the door. And Hagan and I
gasped, realizing we hadn't breathed for the entire, oh, 30 seconds he
was in our line of sight. Simultaneously we sighed...*wow*...

Duncan Reagher (spelling is questionable)....looks are to die for...he is
Australian by origin, I believe, and portrayed Errol Flynn on T.V. a few
years back....now playing Zorro on the Family Channel, or something...egads!
I never like pretty men, but he has such a twinkle in his eye...and the rest
of the stuff is quite supreme.
Sean Connery - yes, even now...eyes and Scottish accent...cuddlesome
Michael Caine - soft spot for that accent and that smile...
Charlie Watts (Stones drummer) - from my childhood lusts - I still think he
hss the most interesting eyes - and cheekbones - in rock and roll.
Anthony Hopkins - always loved his eyes and his smile...dangerous stuff
Christopher Plummer - smile for me and I will melt right here....
Dorian Harewood - voice and bod and smile....just perfecto!
James Earl Jones - voice and voice and voice...and laugh...and intensity...and
on and on.....I would chase this one down, given a chance...any chance
Pierce Brosnan - over and above the obvious charms, there is something ....
perhaps I sense a backbone, a sense of standing to his values, anyway, I
think I would like this man...
Gene Wilder - gentle; quick to laughter; such an aphrodisiac...laughter..
Danny Aiello (spelling in question) - again, there is that quality of KNOWING..
I think I would be comfortable with such a man...and I like comfort most of
all.
Billy Dee Williams - some are just made to stand on this planet to make it
look GOOD...this is one such man. He might even be intelligent and nice...I've
never been able to focus enough to notice...nekkid fantasies abound...
Robert Redford - okay, I confess...he is my "guilty secret" lust....but, hey,
he IS sexy in a very western, ageless way. I do suspect, however, that he
has the personality of a stalk of broccoli...

| Re .73: That's Duncan Regehr, Canadian I think; I remember him fondly
(!) from "Wizards and Warriors" ["Is it getting warm in here?"]. He got
to be a goodish bad guy in "V", too.
Oh, well, now that I've gone and replied... for pure woofability, I'd
give points to Ken Wahl, late of "Wiseguy". Neither he nor his
character ever really turned me on, and yet those shots of him, clad in
a top-flight Mafioso suit, gazing moodily at a city skyline... or him,
in faded denim, gazing moodily at his old Italian-immigrant
neighborhood... or him, in a black leather jacket, gazing moodily -
well, you get the idea. (When he stopped gazing moodily at things, I
knew the series was doomed.)
How about Andy Garcia (specifically, from "The Untouchables" - I've
liked him in other things, but he was really stunning in that one).
And I'll agree on Sean Connery, too; I've always thought that a
person's suitability as an eye-catcher (i.e., "woofability") need have
nothing to do with that person's actual beliefs, marital status, or
sexual orientation. I mean, we're just _looking_, right? [Aren't we???]
None of the previously-mentioned models do much for me. I only seem to
get interested in people who seem to be intriguing characters - that
is, they have to be doing something. [Moody gazes notwithstanding!] In
fact, the majority of my dream-fodder seem to be "X in the role of Y,"
as opposed to simply "X". Hence, Kevin Costner in "Bull Durham" =
WOOF!, but Kevin Costner in "Robin Hood" = <yawn>...
So if I say I had the major-league woofs for Hauptmann Dietrich on "Rat

The guy sauntering down my street on Saturday....
I mean, I don't usually stop and stare, but he was something else.
Tall. Tan. About 20. Very tan. Very blonde. Long hair in a ponytail
but shaved pretty short up the sides. Ice blue/meet eternity eyes.
Open shirt. Levis. Smooth chest. Muscles - not beefy, just sinuous and
lickable - most places I could see.....
I stared. I couldn't help it. I doubt he noticed 8-}

| although I hesitate to abuse my noting privilege by entering 2 in this
string, I had to add to my list:
Armand Assante - can you BELIEVE those eyes???? and the face, and
everything else....okay, he may be a MCP or something, but I can
LOOK. Besides, he always takes the most interesting roles, I think
he must be a little smart or very skewed. either way, I probably
like him...or, at least, I can dream some very passionate scenarios...
Robert De Niro - noone else can act so gentle and yet convey such
potential for menace....I am eternally fascinated by the manner
in which he "fleshes out" a character. Brainpower and focus are
aphrodisiacs to me. This man is smart and VERY focused.
Al Pacino - this guy needs to be taken care of...he looks helpless,
but his love scenes are unbelievably sexy - maybe it's that slightly
desperate, out of control look?
Jeff Goldblum - tall, dark, handsome, crazy....need I say more?

| re .161, .162, isn't it funny how you can spot strangers like that
sometimes & just *notice* them for a long time and never (well sometimes
never) do anything about it. There's an engineer in the Mill that I've
been *noticing* for a long time but have rarely spoken to. There's
just something I like about the way he looks. (I sometimes wonder in
cases like this if the person in question would be appalled to know I
think he's attractive. But, if so, tough, I have a right to discretely
*look* as long as I don't harrass him!) :-)

Maggie Han (MURPHY'S LAW (tv) and THE LAST EMPEROR)
Diana Rigg (most, MOST, *MOST* especially as Mrs. Peel!)
Katherine Hepburn
Holly Hunter
Linda Hamilton
Brooke Adams
Amanda Donohoe
Amanda Pays
Mary Steenburgen
And in the interests of balance:
Timothy Dalton (especially playing the Errol Flynn clone in THE

Sean Connery
Christopher Reeve

Jimmy Smits \ both from
Blair Underwood / L.A. LAW
Scott Glenn
Christopher Walken
Cary Grant

Maid Marian in R'Hood (durn it all, can't spell her name!)
Well, that depends on which ROBIN HOOD you're talking about. If the
the 1938 film, it's Olivia de Havilland. If the 1991 film, it's Mary
Elizabeth Mastrontonio. If the mid-80's British TV series, it's Judi
Trott. All three of them definitely score high on the woofometer.

seeing him in two movies (Truly, Madly, Deeply &

a big woof for Alan Rickman. He's an extremely

nice smile. I'd certaily be more than satisfied
