Marlboro B/L/G Awareness Week
*********************************************************
The Greater Marlboro Area VoD Committee is sponsoring a "Marlboro
Bisexual/Lesbian/Gay Awareness Week" which will take place October
7-October 11 (Mon.-Fri.). October 11 is "National Coming Out Day". A booth
will be set up outside the MRO1 cafeteria to hand out educational material
about b/g/l and also to show some films such as "On Being Gay". Other
activities will include having speakers talk about being gay/bi/les and
"The New Age Pioneers" which are b/l/g puppets.
Help is needed to put this together. You don't have to be out at work to
help with this. Any ideas/suggestions are welcome. You can post them in
this topic or send them to me off-line.
Send me mail if you're interested in working on this. It would be great to
have similar booths set up in the cafe's of other Marlboro sites. I'll be
organizing a planning meeting when I get back (if I get back ;-)) from
vacation in August.
