What an amazing weekend.
I feel like I've just spent time meeting my extended family,
BUT I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT !!! The party was a Thanksgiving
feast with entertainment, and a sea of new faces with familiar
names.
My thanks goes out to all of the special people who made the
trip from many miles away that were so fun to be with and talk
with. You know who you are. NOT to get gushy or anythihing;-), but
I'll remember it forever.

I'm somewhat new to =womennotes and to most of the people who were
at the Grand Party on Friday, but there were also some of my special
friends there as well. Thanks for a wonderful time. This was so
well organized! And the entertainment was terrific. Justine, if you
don't mind my saying so, we should be buying *your* records!

| Joyce Lamotte, thank you so much for all that you did in
organizing and setting this weekend up. Thanks also to
everyone else who organized and hosted and set up before
and cleaned up after. It was a wonderful weekend.

What a wonderful time! The Grand Party was, well, GRAND! So many
faces that I can now attach to names, wonderful connections with new
friends, and wonderful reconnections with old ones!
And a special thanks to all of you who came to celebrate the Solstice
on Saturday - I have *never* seen that many people on my lawn before
;-) Extra special thanks to the Parking Goddess and the Cowrie Goddess
:-) - your contributions were invaluable! You all contributed to a
very special Solstice for me! (Did the web make it to brunch?)
My SO wanted me to let everyone know that his only regret was that he
didn't have a least an hour to spend talking one-on-one with everyone
he met - and I know how he feels!
So when are we doing it again? %-} :-) :-)

| What a great time! Thanks to all of the wonderful people who made this happen
both by their organization, and by their presence.
I have some pictures to contribute, who should I send them to? I have "crowd
shots" of everyone watching Jody. I have some "candids" that might be good too,
but I need permission of the people in them to donate them. Carla? D!? Steve?
E? (what's this with the one letter names?) I also have some shots of people
at tables, and some shots of Kai and me.
Just to let people know why Kai and I finked out on the rest of the weekend,
Kai came down with croup, and Friday night at 2am I found myself in Emerson
Hospital with a sick baby. It wasn't serious, but it did put a crimp in my
weekend plans! It also made the 6 hour flight back "interesting" though Kai
was pretty wonderful given that he was sick. So that's why we missed Monadnock,
the solstice, and the brunch.
We had a great time anyway, and I have many (more) fond memories of all of you!
I'm already looking forward to next time. What great people.
