    Well, I haven't written much in here, and I fit Judy's description in
    .15 ("a =wn= happyhour virgin"), and I'm sometimes too shy and quiet to
    party well, and so I'm a little hesitant... no, make that *more* than a
    little... but yes, I'm coming.  I really would like to meet some of the
    people whose notes I've been reading for years.

    Shy people and ROs are definitely welcome...
    
    just be sure to get up the nerve to introduce yourself to someone!

    Now I'm really embarrassed...
    
    ...I just can't make it tonight.  My kid is just about walking.  When
    she is on the verge of a developmental breakthrough she does two
    things.  
    
    First, she eats constantly!  She must need the energy to keep trying to
    accomplish the new thing.  But she must not need sleep-type energy
    cause she sleeps less.  This makes for a very cranky me.
    
    Between nursing more and sleeping less, I just can't make it.  Besides,
    I wouldn't be great company!
    
    One of these days I'll wean her and then it will be easier to go out
    after work.

    Earlier this week it dawned on me that the get-together was *this*
    week.  I knew I was going, but I decided to ask Tim.  He wasn't
    sure.  Last night, around midnight, he agreed to meet me there.
    
    So that's two more.

    I can't remember if I said that I was going to be there or not.  I'm 
    definitely turning into an airhead this week....my mind is being
    dragged in 1001 different directions. (I HATE when that happens).

    ack, looks like I won't be able to make it!  I have a choice...go to
    the party or take the time now to get my water pump fixed.  I have an
    affinity for running water in my house, so the pump wins.  :-(
