Frankly, my dear, I am puzzled ... Puzzled over a net wide redundancy of "Older <gender> vs Younger <opposite gender>" "Big <subject> vs Little <subject>" What is it about some of these topics that they get propagated all over the place, with most of the replies to both being almost identical, if not just plain similar. What do you think ? Do you find the repetion of thes topics boring or do they really perform some useful service ? What about some of these 'useless' topics, like 'where can I get my grandfather <blank> repaired" ? Trivia .. what purpose does it really serve, and who really cares whether I'm older or she's so much younger than myself ? Whatdya think ? i won't even sign this drivel ...

I don't think the grandfather question was useless. Notes are great
because you can rest assured that if you have a problem, someone in
notes had the exact same problem and has figured out how to solve it.
Too bad the whole world can't "note" with us!
I think this topic is the best example of a trivial and wasteful note
I've seen yet.

Bob,
What may seem to you as useless notes can serve a purpose for others.
I too, am sometimes puzzled at what folks choose to discuss here. My
personal experience is that most of what's in this notes file is noise
and nestled in among the noise I find gems. But then what's noise to
me may be a gem to another.
