    Does anyone in the noting community have any experience with the
    Norplant (birth control implant)?  I'm curious if there are any side
    effects, and what they might be.  Also, would it be covered by
    Healthsource or any other insurance?  I have a call into Healthsource, 
    but since it's so new, the rep didn't have an answer for me.  She'll 
    call me back tomorrow.

    I would think that the side effects are the same as for the mini-pill,
    since they both use ONLY progesterone.  (The pill uses a mix of
    progesterone & estrogen).
