Forever Zora
Forever Zora is a one woman show that tells the life story of Zora
Neale Hurston, one of the makers of the Harlem Renaissance. She
was America's first Black anthropologist as well as a novelist,
essayist and folklorist who celebrated the joys of being Black
long before it was popular to do so.

| Last night about ten of us gathered at 'ren Foster's place in
celebration of Dr. King's birthday (he was actually born on the 15th,
but the public holiday is the third Monday in January). We shared
reading from his speeches and sermons, talked about where his dream is
today, munched on the buffet 'ren laid out, talked about the war, and
tried to understand how we could help make Pastor King's dream more a
reality tomorrow than it is today.
The evening ended too soon for all of us, I think.

21, 1991 for the "Ribbon Cutting Ceremony" at the Martin Luther King Corridor
in ZK1-2.
Guest Speakers: The honorable Reverend Perkins, Professor Gerald Kendricks
of the New Fellowship Baptist Church of Hudson, NH, and David Comberg
who designed and installed the Corridor.
O.B.U. Choir (Outreach for Black Unity) will also be performing at
the ceremony.
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Where: The corridor that connects buildings 1 & 3, and overlooks the pond,
ZK1-2.

1960's to the present....
Broadway Review: In Color was created and produced by Michael Gordon,
Jr. for a Black History Month program at Gordon College in Wenham, MA.
Michael, a multi-talented graduate of the High School of Music and Arts
(FAME School) in New York City and the Boston Conservatory of Music
created this review...
The review consists of Langston Hughes poetry, skits from "For Colored
Girls...", and selected songs from "Porgy and Bess", "Ain't
Misbehaving", "The Wiz", "Dreamgirls" and many others...
