as a puppy who has an owner who would be as good to me as I was
to my dogs!
It's hard to say, but I think if I could come back and have
complete recall of my former life as a woman, I'd like to
come back as a man. Not to oppress anyone, but just to
actually be in a man's shoes to experience the subtle
nuances in everyday life that many feel give men the
controlling edge in society.

Personally, I think it'd be good for everyone if they lived their next
life as the opposite sex of what they are in this one. That way, mabey
it would help everyone develope a better appreciation, tolerance, and
understanding for their "opposite"; something this world would no doubt
benefit from...What do you think?....

I'd come back as a wild porpoise or an unfettered horse. None of this
human garbage for me next time. Too many flaws in the structure, not
enough humility in the heart, and too far from the grounding of nature
for survivability....

| Well, I've enjoyed the human experience and would be happy coming back
as a man, despite the enticement of D!'s reasonings. Given a choice however
I'd like to come back either as a cat or a large bird, an osprey or something
similar. Except I'd prefer my fish cooked.

| I'd choose to come back as a woman again in the hopes of being able to
recover my current jewelry collection and continue wearing it. :-)
Most of my tastes in everything are too feminine for me to imagine ever
being a man, unless the sex roles change significantly in our society.
When I try to think of myself as coming back as a male, the only thing
I can picture is Arnold hiding in his mother's closet trying on
lipstick and girl's clothes in the opening scene of "A Torch Song
Trilogy." That scene is the closest I can get to imagining myself as a
boy. (I don't mean to imply that there is anything "wrong" with being
a gay male because I don't think there is, but unless society were to
become far more open minded I wouldn't choose the hassle.)

594.24 | As a MAN, for at least the next 25 years... :-) | NEMAIL::KALIKOWD | Baby carries no cash! | Thu Dec 27 1990 07:14 | 24 |
| ... because Masters & Johnson have proven, through extensive psycho-
physiological instrumentation, coupled with psychophysical,
psychological, sociological, and socioeconomic research that (quoting
now) "Women experience (read "are paid") only .69 of the pleasure of
men, on a per-orgasm basis."
The good news: This is up from a mere .59 only 15 years ago, so at
current rates of improvement, orgasmic parity should be achieved in
about 25 years.
After that point is reached, I *might* consider returning as a woman.
But Not A Moment Sooner!! :-)
Perhaps Virginia Slims was referring to this steady progress when they
coined the slogan
"You've COME a long way, baby!!"
??
