WOMEN'S MONTH -- MARCH, 1991
Mark your calendars everyone! Time to take a break from work and
celebrate the greatness of women! The theme for this year is "If you
could see me now"!
The plans for this month are still underway and we need input as to
what folks are interested in having go on this month. Some plans which
are in the wings: having a famous woman come and speak to us, showing
movies which have women as main characters and holding various discussion
groups. So help us out...are these activities of interest to women at
DEC? Are there any women out there who would be willing to lead some
discussion groups? What movies with women main character are of
interest to the reading audience? I'll throw out some ideas here as a
starting point. So fasten your seatbelts because away we go...

| I am looking for any talented women or men who would like to participate in
our program for Women's Month. This would include any performing arts
which content will celebrate women.
I would be interested in anyone who would like to be involved in a dance
performance, perhaps some theatre or anyone who wishes to submit and
read women poetry or journal writings.
I am also open for any suggestions regarding any other media that you
would like to present.
