I believe this is one noters reply to the accusation the FWO notes are sexist.

-d, my hats off to you, I love it!! (there is something truely warped and 
about needing a FMO note in a conference about women.  Says something about
the male ego.)

As far as the question posed in .0 goes, depends on context and inflection.

Ihave gay friends that get offended if you call them any thing else but
Faggot, Queen, Dyke, Lesbo, and to them gender does not matter for whom the
label is applied to.  (Yes I have heard "He is such a dyke!" used by one man
to a woman, about a second man.)
