Can we first agree on the rules;
o A last word would have to be a reply to this Note only.
(ie. no references in other topics or Notes files, use
of U.S. or International mail, television, radio or any
other electronic medium including voice or telepathic
communications.)
o The topic is only valid for this version of Womannotes.
(Current version is V3.0)
o Moderators and their families are strictly prohibited.
o Massachusetts residents please add appropriate tax.
Given the above I believe there are two scenarios for getting
the last word.
1. Someone bribes one of the Moderators to find out when this
file will close, and we move on to V4.
2. A catastrophic event wipes out all participants except one
or two Moderators, who just happened to be transferring
backup tapes of the file to offsite storage at the time.

But we were talking of time zones, and geographical locations, and who
would be noting when.
I can enlighten you to the fact that pictures on currencies have nothing
to do with the time-zone in countries, or on the noting practices of the
Digital employees in those countries.

Digital employees. I'm in California. So is Charles. He said,
following us Californians would be UK noters. I said, you must mean
the ozzies, 'cause after Californians, the ozzies are the next large
contingent that wake up and go to work. But I hadn't really thought
one says "UK" to mean ozzies, 'cause there's a better word
(commonwealth) to describe the relation of the UK and Australia.

in .69 you actually said:

Well, I thought that meant you were including the UK as close to Australia

actually, there is a better word, however printing it here would
probably get me deleted! :-)

Ooohhh, that might be fun to watch! I know that moderators can delete notes, but
I hadn't realized they could delete NOTERS. Wow, I'll have to watch my mouth...
(tricky without a mirror, ya know)
I had completely forgotten about our Australian and Hong Kong noters. They, of
course, would be next after those of us blessed to live in the Bear Flag
Republic - seventh largest GNP in the world. I can't understand why everyone
doesn't live here, but I'm glad they don't...

(I was going to put in a joke about California and queens, but decided that
people who didn't know me might think I was being insulting... on the contrary,
the fact that queens can feel comfortable here is one of the reasons I love this
state, and especially this area.)

Nice to know we are so easily forgotten :-(.
We actually note way BEFORE you do in the US. You see its 8:35am
25-1-91 here already and it's still only Thursday night over there
(about 6:35pm in some places I think??).
So why don't you want us to live over there??? Must be that you care
for us so much that you wouldn't want to take us from our paradise.
David.
