Hi Eileen!
There are lots of =wn=ers in LJO!
They just pop up everywhere... I was reading a LanWORKS for OS/2
manual, and thought to myself what good documentation this was,
When I inquired who was responsible for it, I recognized the name
from =wn=.
(Hi Linda Belliveau - I've been meaning to stop by your office
and tell you this.)
If you want to meet Kathy Maxham, just steal one of her printouts
and hang out near the printer. {"Oh, is this _yours_?"}
Margaret Russell is in the office with the crawly blown-up things
on the floor, and lots of toys on the file cabinet, and some every
interesting photos.
Every so often, I see Nancy Smith who drops pearls of wisdom around
her.
Nancy Peaslee is also fairly new to LJO; we have similar postcards
decorating our office :-).
Tamzen Cannoy and Jim Burrows reside in the Macintosh area, but
other than that, they're not that bad :-P).
Well, I better quit introducing others before I get myself in
trouble!
Give me a call when you're in town, Eileen.

| Eileen,
If you do go into Margaret Russell's office, remember
the snakes are not real. Every once in a while I'll
walk in there and find out that my autonomic nervous
system is working quite well.
Scott (Yup, I still hate snakes)

373.3 | Do lunch?? | RANGER::PEASLEE | | Thu Sep 13 1990 16:18 | 10 |
| What a great topic!!!! I was thinking of trying to arrange an
LJO-and-area Womannoters lunch somewhere local. While I have
seen a number of wn entries which reside on LJO nodes, Nancy B.
is the only one I've had the pleasure to meet.
Would anyone be interested in getting together for lunch?? (If time
is an issue we could brown-bag and congregate by the picnic tables.)
What-do-you-think??

Hi Nancy,
That sounds like fun! The Rusty Scupper has handled us for
lunch before; trying that again might be fun!

| Definitely "strays" are welcome! October 8 sounds good to me.....
Amy, LJO is at the intersection of routes 2 and 495. (Off the
Taylor Street exit of Route 2, then a quick left onto Porter Road.)

373.9 | October 8 | RANGER::PEASLEE | | Fri Sep 14 1990 10:23 | 8 |
| OK - lets try for October 8 - LUNCH!!! Another suggestion might
be the Outlook - have any of you been there?? Its in the Nashoba
ski area - good food and casual atmosphere - thats just a suggestion -
I'm very flexible. :^)
We don't need to restrict this to LJO or Littleton folks - if you are
interested sign up in this note and I'll take care of reservations.

| Thank you all for your replies. And here I thought I wouldn't know
anyone at LJO!
Scott, I'm particularly grateful to you for the warning about Margaret
Russell's snakes. I would like my blood pressure to stay where it
is for a while longer.

373.13 | Anyway for it to be Friday October 5th instead? | BIGRED::GALE | Ditto | Fri Sep 14 1990 23:39 | 10 |
| Is there anyway the lunch could be on Friday October 5th instead of
that Monday?
That way I could attend before I had to fly back to Texas the next
day...
If you have it on Monday the 8th, I'd miss it by one day, and I've love
to be able to see all the Lunch bunch that is attending...

| I'm in Westford, not Littleton, but it's just up the road. Coffee
is out, but lunch isn't -- as others know.
Ann B.
P.S. Actually, since "the road" includes the intersection of Route
110 and Boston Road, which I haven't seen since late August when they
were still sidling up to ripping it apart, I may be exaggerating my
proximity.

| Add me to the lunch bunch!!
RE: -1
The "road" is better but still under construction. It took me 1/2
hour to go from LJO2 to the cleaners at 4 corners when it usually
takes about 10 minutes at lunchtime.

373.16 | | WJOUSM::STRATTON | We didn't start the fire... | Fri Sep 28 1990 10:14 | 10 |
| Is lunch still on for 10/8? If it is, I will not be able to make it as
I will be heading down to the Magic Kingdom on vacation. Maybe next
time...
BTW, the traffic at 4 corners wasn't bad this morning, I was able to
breeze right through and got to work (WJO) EARLY this morning. (my
commute is usually 10-15 minutes, but with the construction going on it
can take up to 30.)

373.18 | October 12th? | RANGER::PEASLEE | | Fri Sep 28 1990 16:56 | 12 |
| I have received a number of replies from people offline. It
appears that the 5th (Friday) is out for a number of people,
the 8th (Monday) is a bad day for a certain person-who-I-won't
name (last initial - B) :^) so the final date is October 12, a
Friday.
Please RSVP to RANGER::PEASLEE if you are able to attend. The
Rusty Scupper (by popular demand) has been chosen. Directions
will be posted in this notesfile. (I'll make the reservations.)
If this event is successful - we'll plan on something a month or
so later.
