| re .2, yes, one of my best friends used to have that poster on her
bedroom wall, about 20 yrs. ago. It had Linus with his blanket and
then "I love mankind. It's people I can't stand." Actually, I think I
may feel just the opposite. I love people. It's mankind I can't
stand. (not mankind as in *men* but mankind as in the entire human
race) I mean I love people more when I deal with them as individuals
than I do the entire human race when I read history and the news and
realize what horrible things humans have done to each other. The
overall picture can be appalling but as individuals people can be a lot
of fun.
