Ya know, I listen to a lot of records being a dj. But,
my favorites are the ones that compliment my inner reality
and stand the 'test of time' (IMHO) as being vital to my
living energy. I can always look to music as a new
threshold, that compliments my life, when I realize that
it has matched my inner vision I adopt it.
OK here it are...
Julkua Spirit is the Journy.
Rush Grace Under Presure.
Tom Tom Club Close to the Bone.
China Crisis Flaunt the Imperfection.
Pat Metheny New Calchuta. (sp?)

| It's George Michael's latest, revealing a versatility of non-
radio-ripe singing styles I never credited him with having.
Favorite on the LP goes to song #2, "Freedom, 90". The lyrics
are about non-possession of lovers with a catchy background
rhythm.
A close runner-up is song #4, "Something to Save", mostly because
I find it's use of a violin(?) intruiging in a soft-rock song.
#3, "They Won't Go When I Go" has a chorus which reminds me of a
Baptist church on a Sunday morning in the deep South.
#9, "Soul Free", causes me to want to find a dance club. I also
like the really high notes he reaches when singing, "when you
touch me baby". On the down side, this song has the most static
in its first 5 seconds that I've ever heard on a CD.
