This note is for pro-survivors. This terminology has been established
for those of the world who are partners of survivors of child sexual
abuse. The pro-survivor is someone that the psychological community
is just beginning to recognize as having needs for support in their
efforts to support their partner in their on-going recovery.
Several books that have been recently published for survivors have
finally included this important issue. They are SECRET SURVIVORS
by E. Sue Blume, 1990, and VICTIMS NO LONGER by Mike Lew, 1989/90.
I urge any pro-survivor to read both these books as they contain
information that can be transferred to both males and females.
Please post any information that would be helpful for the pro-survivor
in this topic.
