1004.0. "NEED RECEPTION HALL FOR 6/91 WEDDING" by DARTS::DAIGLE () Fri Mar 02 1990 13:42

Help, I'm getting married on June 8th 1991. I'm looking for
reception hall in the Worcester area. Something nice for about
200 people. I don't care if I have to use their caterer or if I
have to find my own. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Pam

Try Maironis Park on So. Quinsigamond Ave. in Shrewsbury. It's
right across the lake from Worcester and is very nice, etc.

The Spencer country club in Spencer is beautiful.

I second the recommendation for Maironis Park. Everyone in my family
had their reception there. I've also attended nice weddings at the
Tuttle Post in Auburn, The Wachusett Country Club in W.Boylston, and
the Sheraton Tara in Framingham. At the Sheraton Tara, they include
anything you could think of - band, cake, floral arrangements, and of
    course food.

Is Mechanic's hall too expensive? It's absolutely beautiful.

You should also look into the Knights of Columbus hall in
Shrewsbury (Route 20). It's very very nice, with a large
dance floor. I was in a wedding in September 1989, and
the reception was there. The food was outstanding too...
