868.0. "Winter, snow, dogsledding" by BEING::ALBERT () Fri Nov 17 1989 15:10
Would any women in our community be interested in a dog sledding/camping
trip this winter? (3 days, 2 nights)(approx. cost of $110.00 per day)
An outfitter in Vermont organizes, supplies, and leads dog sledding weekends.
We will be alternating between cross country skiing and running with the sled.
Dog sledding or winter camping experience is not required. The trip leader
does require participation -- you can't just go along to ride in the sled.
Anyone who exercises regularly has the strength and stamina required
for the trip. You don't have to be a great cross country skier --
but, I wouldn't try this without some downhill skiing, cross country skiing,
or snowshoeing experience.
There are two of us and we need a total of 5 or 6 to book a trip.
Please send me mail if you are interested -- BEING::ALBERT
