| | What a rotten thing to see first thing on a monday morning.

Now that I've gotten my selfish response out of the way, I wish you all
the best, Roberta...even if it is jazz you're addicted to :-) We will
miss you around here, and I suspect DEC will be poorer for losing you.

    Best luck, lady.

| | All beginning artists need to starve a little, so that when they
become really rich and famous, they will know what it means to have
to cook their oatmeal on a single burner stove.

So when you get rich and famous, perhaps you can set aside a fund
to supply oatmeal to those who are trying to follow in your footsteps.

I admire your bravery and belief in yourself. I wish for you the
    best of everything.

Good luck, and may your talents prevail. See you in Newport in a few years
or what?

When you have the soul of an artist you can't say no to
it for very long and stay sane.
Best of luck - and all that Jazz.

| | I'll miss you Roberta.

There is a line in a Grateful Dead song that goes, "I cannot forgive
you if you will not take a chance" thats life talking to all of us...
if we're going to do it at all then we might as well do it right_:-).

A lady with class and courage... you can't lose.

Good luck. I hope New York treats you well. Get a recording career as soon

plan a similar move, I find your decision inspirational.

P.S. Here's hoping that starvation isn't part of the show; I've
never found that losing meals was *necessarily* a boon to composition. . .
