688.0. "Joining MASS NOW" by PROSE::BLACHEK () Thu Jul 06 1989 11:21

    To join MASS or Boston NOW, call 617-782-3241 or 782-1056.
    Ask them to send you an informational brochure and the membership
    form will be included.

    You'll need to ask for either a Boston or a general Mass kit, depending
    on which chapter you want to join.

    A little late, but...

    The South Middlesex NOW (MA) Chapter covers the towns of Framingham,
    Natick, Marlboro, Wayland, Sudbury, Concord, Westboro, Milford,
    Medway, Millis, Holliston, etc.

    We have a very active Reproductive Rights Task Force, as well as
    a Women and Economic Survival Task Force, a Lesbian Rights Task
    Force and a Women and Aging Discussion/Support Group. If you'd
    like further information, please send MAIL. I'd be glad to send
    one of our spiffy brochures, and/or tell you more about our Chapter.

688.3Info on N. Shore NOW?CADSE::FOXim lo achshav, ei matai?Fri Nov 17 1989 09:1015
A friend of mine, finally moved to action by Tuesday's
Pennsylvania Legislature's vote, has sent in her money to
National NOW, but wants to work locally. She asked me, her
token feminist activist friend :-), what I knew of the work of
North Shore (Mass.) NOW, based in Marblehead. She doesn't want
to join a chapter that just sits around and raises money.

I don't know anything about the chapter, so I said I'd query the net.

So how 'bout it, =womanoters=? Either reply here, or, if you want your
reply kept confidential, E-mail your response to me.
