580.1Let's MeetMPGS::BOYANTue Jun 20 1989 15:1122
Dear all interested folks,

   Sorry for the short notice but, if you could take alittle time,
please come. We need group support and must start to get organized.

To All,

I am trying to setup a meeting for wednesday nite about 6 pm here at the
MOO plant in a large conference room. I understand that people are spread
out quite a bit. The MOO plant is located in Marlboro, Mass for those
of you who do not know. If there are other suggestions for a meeting
place, let's hear them. If you know others in the same or simular
situations , by all means have them come. We need to get the ball rolloing
and meet and discuss ( all together ) what we can do, what we should do
and how we will do it.
Please let me know if you will attend or if wednesday is bad. If the majority
can't make it we'll reschedule. I hope to get something going. Let me
know if you need directions.

    I feel supportive of your project, and don't want to imply otherwise,
    but can you explain why this is posted in *womannotes*?

    Thanks,

580.3does this help?EDUHCI::WARRENWed Jun 21 1989 12:5214
    Holly,

    I assume he thought this might be a "topic of interest to women"
    (probably because the issues they will deal with are ones women
    have traditionally have to deal with).

    If it's not a TOITW, the topic will die a "natural death." I really
    like the "non-interventionist" style of moderating in this file
    which does not determine _what_ we should be discussing. I think
    it works and I hope it does not change.

    I was not suggesting that it shouldn't be here -- but I was confused
    since it sounds like a group that does not even include women!

    Seeing it here made me think that this conference was perhaps evolving
    into a second "human relations" type conference.

    But my note was really a request for information and clarification.
