| You shall probably get conflicting stories here also. ;-) I grew
up believing the left ankle means attached and the right ankle a
free agent.

| My sister-in-law normally wears hers on the same ankle as her
flower tatoo.
Unfortunately I don't remember if that's the right or the left.

I wear mine on my left ankle...but that's because its too
tight on my right ankle! 8-)
(PS: my extra hole in my ear....three on one side, two on
the other...is in my left ear....)
I don't think it makes much difference anymore these days,
though!

Here's my $.02
Wear it on the left side, that is the side your heart is on
That by the way is why we wear wedding rings on the left side.

Sort of....It was originally believed by Greek Physicians in the
third century B.C. that a certain vein, "The Vein of LOVE", ran
from the third finger of the left hand directly to the heart. This
was later adopted by the Romans. This finger also became the Roman
Physicians "healing finger", used to stir medicine mixtures. This
precaution was used such that any potentially toxic medicine would
be felt in the doctor's "heart" before giving it to the patient.
It was then adopted by Christians. First the groom placed the wedding
band on the bride's index finger, with the words "In the name of
the Father." Then the ring was moved to the bride's middle finger,
with the words "In the name of the Son." And finally the ring was
move to the third finger with the words "and of the Holy Spirit."
This became known as the Trinitarian Formula.
Just a bit of trivia. Now back to our originally scheduled program...
I always wear my anklet on my left leg - Don't know why. My husband
thinks it looks sexier on my left leg - don't know why either.

| G'Day, (I think that means something in the US now)
It seems as though the general opinion is for the left ankle.
This was what we thought in the first place but I thought I'd just
ask here to give everybody something a little 'lighter' to note
about - it's been getting pretty tough in here of late!
Thanks for all the replies and keep them coming if you want,
David.
