Michele - Do you live in the Boston area? If so, try Charles Panza's
in downtown Framingham. They specialize in hard-to-fit feet. You
might want to call ahead to double check.

Hi Michele!
You can get shoes in Framingham at
The Forgotton Foot
225 Worcester Road Route 9 West past Shoppers World.
Framingham
(508)879-3290
It's in a small shopping plaza with a "Balloonie's" in it.
David Sodekson is the owner and he can order shoes.
OR - - -
You can go to the Naturalizer Shoe Store in the Greendale Mall
in Worcester (just off Rt. 190). They can order shoes too. In
fact, they can get them to you a LOT faster than David.
OR - - -
You can mail order from Cinderella of Boston (now located in
California). I don't have the address for Cinderella, but you might
be able to get it from a Los Angeles area yellow pages. If I find
the address at home, I'll add another note.
I wear size 3 too!!!
Good luck!

121.3 | another in Framingham | IAMOK::KOSKI | Vacation, all I ever wanted | Wed Aug 17 1988 11:37 | 6 |
| A more reasonably priced option in Framingham would be Talcoff's
Shoes in the Shoppers World. They do a very good job keeping the
hard to find sizes in stock (3-13), I'm on the high end (12) and
have received very good service there.

| Hi! I wear a size 3 1/2, so I also know how hard it is to find
shoes that fit!
I've ordered several pairs of shoes from Cinderella of Boston.
I have their address at home, and I think I have an extra catalog.
Please let me know if you need the address, or the catalog.

121.5 | What's reasonable? | 3D::AUSTIN | just passn' thru | Wed Aug 17 1988 14:01 | 12 |

How much more "reasonable" is Talcoff's? I bought pumps at the
"Forgotton Foot" for $49. I know Cinderella can run higher depending
on style, and I'm not sure about the cost in the Greendale Mall.
I've found that a lot of "specialty" shoe stores carry a larger
quantity of larger sizes than smaller sizes.

| Jean,
I've been paying about that for pumps. The Forgotten Foot just struck
me wrong and I didn't see any selection worth the money. Just my opinion.
The owner of Talcoffs seemed genuinely concerned with keeping her
customers happy, that is why I prefer the store. I can't comment
on the quantities of smaller styles.
Charles Panza is another choice, but they seem to run out of the
styles outside of the "normal" range rather early in the season.

121.7 | Selection? What's that? | 3D::AUSTIN | just passn' thru | Wed Aug 24 1988 16:16 | 12 |
|
I'll have to try Talcoff's. I was just happy to find a place around
that actually could GET size 3! Most stores order 4 1/2 and up.
I think the guy at the Forgotton Foot is very new to business itself
and is having a hard time getting off the ground. If more people
went to him, maybe he'd be able to get more things. He seemed very
willing to try to get me what I wanted, although I had to wait for
some.

| Speaking of cruel shoes....who the heck designed these things anyway? And what
gave them the idea that women have narrow pointy feet. E gadz, what's a person
with flat short feet supposed to do anyway? I refuse to wear shoes that
mush my baby toe and cause me intense pain..or maybe I should be in the
hot button note...grrrr..
Jenna (who went looking for shoes but ended up with a pair of Nikes cuz
they're the only things that worked...sigh)
