On August 22, I leave the East for a Nutritionist job with the
Standing Rock Cheyenne Tribe in North Dakota! I've been a
Registered Dietitian since 1982, and all that time I've been
    working as a secretary.

A major change, and about time!

    Carol:

I'm interested in the old, or "primal" religions. The books of
Lynn Andrews have affected me alot - from Medicine Woman to Crystal
Woman. I think we see only a very small portion (about as much
as we see of the light spectrum) of the "worlds of God." I also
think that the worlds of sleeping and dream and vision are (or may
    be) real worlds.

So far, Indian people whom I've talked to in the area have been
the most welcoming. I talked to one woman who I didn't know was
Indian, but her statements showed an Indian identity, so I asked
her. She is all Indian, and she said she could introduce me to
some people who remember the old ways. But she said they are
hesitant to talk, because some Christian people still refer to the
    old religion as "devil worship."

I'm Baha'i now - and you can't be of a much newer religion than
that - but I have great respect (and perhaps even a yearning for)
    the old ways.

I appreciate all your good wishes. Actually I thought I was entering
this note in "milestones" but as usual I used Write, not reply.

    Briana
