Never heard of wrapping....medically I think the only way you can
get rid of them is by exercising.....

excuse me... i have to step in and say something...
this has been mentioned one time before..
horseback riding takes it away??
i ride and train both english and western, as well as shown for
15 years., i have yet to lose weight from it.
it is a form of exercise, but if you spend as much time in the saddle
as i have, you get used to it, and i have not seen any changes in
my figure.
maybe i'm doin' some-thin' wrong??
I have a palomino that needs to get ready for palomino world show
championships:
if it helps you, you are more than welcome to work my horse every
day. ;^)

as far as wrapping i think they use a mudd type pack or creme and
tightly wrap the skin,to compress it.
although it has not been proven but i think it is similar to
what we do to reduce the horses necks, by sweating it out.
some people swear by them, some swear it them.

769.5 | It went away - honest! | AIMHI::SCHELBERG | | Wed Mar 30 1988 16:37 | 11 |
| Well it worked for me! I had celluite on my fat thighs and after
two years of horse back riding (I rode every week) it went away!
In fact after I stopped it came back...luckily not as bad cuz I
still do some aerobic exercising....I stopped riding cuz it was
expensive and I didn't have my own horse....
And I'm not the only one I know that it has helped....we figured
that's what did it....I guess it depends on your body!

The wraps do work, but you can save yourself some money and do
it yourself.
First soak in a hot bath with epsom salts or sea salt. Then
take plastic wrap (Saran wrap or any other brand) and wrap
your legs, arms, buttocks, etc. up in it. (It's always nice to
have your SO help with this :-) )
Put on a sweat suit and do some excercising (Rowing machine,
stationary bike, housework, etc.) for a couple of hours.
Gently massage the areas before and after to increase circulation.
Done regularly, a couple times a week, will show definite improvement,
and in many cases eliminate cellulite.

| This is the author of this note.
I justed wanted to let you know I found a place that offers the
wraps I was inquiring about.
It is called "Beverly Hills Concept", they are located on 110
in Chelmsford across from CVS and Papa Ginos. The so called
wraps is a mud-pack method similiar to how they treat a bee
sting and it's called "pulpus". They are now running a special
in the Lowell Sun for $48
This includes:
One body wrap (guaranteed to lose 6 inches the first time or
your money back)
3 Visits to their toning tables
1 Suana
I'm going for it!
This method is European and is spreading fast in the United States.
Will post my results after my visit.
