The WOMANNOTES file has many excellent writers. Once in a while someone writes a note that articulates the feelings of many other noters. These notes also bring understanding to people who do not share the same experiences. Unfortunately this file is also very large. Often when I get too far behind I have to "next unseen" past many notes and hope that I am not missing one of these special notes. People who are new to this file can't possibly read through all of the old notes. Often there is not much point in reading an old string that people have lost interest in. If a new noter chooses to "SET SEEN /BEFORE=TODAY" they may miss the best this file has to offer. I therefore propose that this topic serve as... The Womannotes Hall of Fame How to use this note: 1. Add a reply to this topic that "Sets the seen" for the note you wish to nominate. You may wish to included pointers to other notes to help do this. 2. Put the note number in the title of the reply. Rules: 1. You can't nominate your own note 2. This note is for posterity do *NOT* use it to carry the battle beyond the original string. 3. If you don't agree with one of the notes here, take your flames to the original note. All replies without a pointer to another note will be deleted. 4. This note is for pointers to high light good notes. I don't want to see "Read this note to see a true MSP" or "People who think like the author of XXX.YY should be burned at the stake" 5. Stick to individual notes. No pointers to 200 note strings. This note is for that 1 in 100 note. If you have been reading this file for a long time, can you remember any oldies but goodies that current readers might have missed? Dig back and see if you can find them and post a note here when you do. I would prefer that this note contain pointers to this file only. Another note could be started to point to notes in other conferences. I wish every notes file had a topic like this. Could one of the moderators please provide a pointer to this note in 1.0? MJC O->
