Moving this note is a personal judgement call. I feel that it is the
best solution to a problem that I wish had not come up.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This note is just like many of the preceeding notes...
One method I have had with dealing with dreams is to pretend that you have a
magic weapon that gives you power to do whatever in the dream. It may be a
weapon, or speed, or magic, but something that gives you power. It will allow
you to overcome your fear in the dream. It doesn't often make your dream go
away, but allows you to work through your dream and your fear. This is a fear
dream, and it is usually repeated untill you overcome your fear. If you wake up
in the middle of the dream without resolving it, go back asleep to the dream and
resolve it.
When life is really not going well, I have catastrophe dreams... Like when
someone you *love* is marrying someone else...
The landscape is what you would expect from an earthquake... Everything is in
ruins, everything except people are grey monochrome. The people are ofter
garishly colored, and have strange bizzarre features like mechanical jaws, or
animal parts, or extra body parts... and they seem to treate everything as
though it is normal, that adds a lot to the horror. Weird things happen, like
eating batteries, metamorphizing into horrorable shapes, all with a feeling of
matter of course...
There is no shaking these dreams, they stay with me... They are actually
repeat only a few times, but they stay with you forever.
Another dream I had which was actually on Monday, I believe... was a dream that
I had litterally lost my children.
I was at a campground, or lake, of forest. I suddenly realized that I did not
know where my 8 month old son was. I felt that I had left him somewhere an hour
or so ago, but I could not remember where, or even where I had been.
Then I realized that I had not seen my 2.5 year old son for the better part of
the day. Again, I had no idea where to look. I felt like I had just been so
zombielike preoccupied with myself that I had walked off and left them.
I could picture various horrible things that could be happening to them, getting
run over, left in a car, kidnapped, lost in the forest, eating something
poisonous, drowning in the lake, falling and being hurt and dying.
The worst part, the fear was that I would/could do this. I have been told
various times by various people that this is something that I *would* be likely
to do; a lot of brainwashing there. There was a lot of horror that I could be
so !@#$% to do this. More horror that I did not know where to look. Horror,
what might be happening to the children.
Because it was such a fear, it was not something I could shake by waking up.
I of course, hope that that dream never becomes reality, but it has been
brainwashed into me. I don't do anything like what happened in my dream with my
children, but I haven't seen them for a couple weeks, and ....
.16 and the other note about having a knife under the pillow are good examples
of 'magic weapons'...
.22 I've read the same story, that's where I got the idea from... in my
dreams, I can be Delleron, with magic to protect me...
Jim.
