Well, since you asked: I'm quite partial to Gruyere (an austrian
cheese like swiss, but harder and with almost no holes.), Saga ( a
layered cheese made of some Bleu cheese and Brie), interesting
cheddar like cheeses (almost all of them are English) like
Cotswild. There's also an excellent layered cheese of Blue and a

| I'd love to come, and I'll get started on a babysitter tonight.
I'll bring what my son calls my Famous Mexican Bean Dip...no
animal products except sour cream.
I know where Wayland is but after that...
Looking forward to meeting you all.

| Eagle,
I've had racoons. I have pictures of racoons. In my garage.
In my kitchen. In my living room. I do not *want* to have
racoons again. (Did you know that they can -- and will -- open
a bottle of peanut oil, and *then* attempt to drag it home with
them? More than once?)
To put out food for smaller animals is unfair; I have cats.
Ann B.
P.S. Yes, I understand, and appreciate the thought. But the deed!

house!
[No, no, Ann, it's OK - I was just kidding... Quick, somebody, get
her out of the bathroom...]
Gosh, I'd pay cash money to see the racoons pull that stunt with
the peanut oil. Shall we set up a racoon-watching blind and wait?
Many thanks,
-b

| "Her" name was (and is) Karen Hackett, a friend of mine from college
days, currently exiled from San Diego to the wilds of Boston. She
told me to tell everyone she had a great time, and enjoyed meeting
you all.
By the way, the Champagne was from Bob RANCHO:: Holt and I didn't
bring truffles 'cause I managed to get to an oven. On the other
hand, do you know how *hard* it is finding enchilada sauce in Boston!?
Great party, hope I can make the next one!

P.S. Ann, I suspect your dream was caused by an O.D. on chocolate...
yum! Blame it all on Martin, what a wonderful dessert!

| Blame the dessert on LeNtre -- Desserts and Pastries. It was the
"Concorde" a combination of chocolate meringue and chocolate mousse.
Took longer to clean the kitchen than it did to make the cake.
Any one can do it: you just need 14 eggs, some sugar, some cocoa,
and 3/4 pound of chocolate (1/2 Merkens Yucatan, 1/2 unsweetened baking
chocolate.)
Martin.
