578.0. ""Harpies Bizarre"" by 3D::CHABOT (That fish, that is not catched thereby,) Tue Dec 08 1987 20:33

Here's a recommendation, albeit a bit late, for New Englanders.

Lydia Sargent has a new play out, "Harpies Bizarre". From the press
    release:

Harpies Bizarre is a feminist satire in which we look at the
situation of women through the eyes of Jerry Payswell and His All
Gals Choir--a world in which God does not love gals because they
have become bizarre harpies preying on men and destroying the family
    	and the authority of God.

    EVERYBODY gets made fun of.

    It runs through December 19th.

I have no connection with anything having to do with this theater.
If this is out of place in this notesfile--no harm intended.
I had fun when I saw it last weekend, and thought you might too.
[Moderators, delete at will.] Contact me for details of time and
location; or, if I find out it's okay, I'll post it here.

At the Newbury Street Theater, at 565 Boylston Street (almost in
Copley Square). Phone number is 262-7779. Performances (did Lisa
already say this?) are Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

I'm still coming out with lines from this play.
