475.0. "ANY EXTRA WINTER CLOTHES ?" by VAXUUM::MUISE () Wed Sep 09 1987 11:50

    My sister, her husband and little girl are going to be visiting
    me for the entire month of December. The problem is that they
    live in Hawaii, and own NO winter clothes!

    As you all go through your winter clothes this fall, if you
    find you have some coats, jackets, sweaters, etc. that you've
    had enough of, please let me know before you discard them.

    My sister is probably anywhere between a size 5/6 and 8/9,
    brother-in-law is a large, or 44, and my niece is a 3T (or
    maybe even 4T by then). I don't really know if this is
    even the right place for this note, but it is usually the
    women who go through the family's clothes each year, so I
    hoped no one would be offended by this request.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jacki

475.1Pepperell Church Thrift SaleTOPDOC::JAMESWed Sep 09 1987 13:039
    Hi Jacki. I don't know where you live, but I had a thought that
    might help you. There is a church in Pepperell, Ma that is running
    a "bag sale" from their thrift shop. The deal is, all the clothes
    you can fit in a supermarket bag costs $1.00. They have all sizes
    for all types of people...and most are in good to excellent condition.
    Get in touch with me if you are interested.
