Another party, sure why not. A lot of us will be in Boston on
September 4th so it was suggested we get together.
I have a comfortable apartment in the South End. You are welcome
to congregate there. In fact I would enjoy having you!
But the apartment is comfortable for myself and my roommate. I
will need to have a good idea of who will show up. And any
cancellations. If the list becomes large I will think of something
that will accomodate us all. You will love it! Trust me! (you
all have heard that before).
I will think about food and time later. Time will be based on my
scheduled time at DECWORLD. Food will be determined by numbers
who will attend.
So register by replying to this note or send me mail. This invitation
is open to all members of the Womannnotes community. Please do
not distribute copies of this memo at DECWORLD but if you know someone
will be attending and they might enjoy the party register for them
also.

Joyce, I've held off responding to your invitation because I don't
know yet whether I am one of the "chosen many" who will receive
an employees day ticket. I entered the "lottery" through the DTW
but haven't heard anything.
Has anyone either 1) received an Employee Day ticket; or 2) received
word that they will not be receiving one?

I received my literature from DECWORLD Friday. It is from 9:00
a.m. to 3:00 p.m. I will have wine, cheese, french bread and fruit
from 4:00 to 6:00 at my house.
There is parking at the DIGITAL Boston plant which is three blocks
from my house.
Is there any interest out there?

There wasn't enough interest to have a party. I have also been
without a modem at home for over a week. I have serious withdrawal
symptoms from not being able to note.
So it is 20 past three on September 4th....it is a beautiful day
in the city and I just returned from the WTC where there are hundreds
of DECCIES. The traffic is terrible and I expect had there been
a party everyone would have been a basket case by the time they
had arrived in the South End.
So the party is cancelled. Have a great weekend!

FYI not having a modem is the reason the cancellation is late.
