That might be the only support. I find a note like this a waste
of space and time. You might want to bring those notes to another
conference where other bullshit goes on.

I think you are only listening to the voices that shout. Some of
the more moderate voices are drowned out by the noise, including
the flamers and the flamees.

conference at hand. With notes like this and 264 cluttering the

I didn't realise this file was for 'feminism', if I had known it was a
sexist conference I would never have contributed (in humour or seriously)

I was only making reference to Kerry's
comment that the flames against him were caused
by the "feminism" in this file. I didn't mean
to suggest that this file was *for* feminism,
but rather that the comments against Kerry were
*NOT* inspired by it.

re: .36
The following should get it for you.
If you have MENNOTES as an entry already:
MOD ENT MENNOTES/FILE=RSTS32::MENNOTES
The problem seems to have been two-fold. First, the node name you gave did not
have two colons (":") following it. Second, the notes$library is not really
a directory name (e.g. [Cooper]) but rather a logical, e.g. DISK$USER:)

268.41 | some input | HARDY::HENDRICKS | | Mon Apr 06 1987 08:44 | 22 |
| Suzanne, I really enjoy the notes you have written. I like to "listen
to you think" in some of the longer ones.
One piece of feedback, though--
I usually just read the first screen of a note carefully, due to
time constraints, and I only occasionally do more than skim the
remaining screens. I find it easier to quickly read and comprehend
the notes from people who use the full screen (full in terms of width).
Often I do find myself reading all of your notes, but because of
the different format it requires some mental "gear changing", and
it makes it seem as though your notes *are* longer than they are.
And it takes me a little longer than reading wide notes of the same
length would take.
(Being able to read notes fast is probably not the highest priority
for most people in the file, so I am not suggesting that you change
your format. I have enjoyed your 3%!)
