Has anyone seen this particular behavior?

    Web Server: IIS 3.0 / NT 4.0
Browser: Netscape 3.01 or MSIE 3.01

I've created a virtual directory on IIS to point to another directory
outside of the Root web. When I use the Netscape browser, it keeps
asking for Username and Password, but when I use the MSIE, it works
    fine!

Does anyone what the problem could be?

    Thanks!

| I think you are using NT Challenge/Response authentication, only supported by IE, not Netscape. Run the Internet Service Manager and change that. mike | |||||
