160.0. "JavaScript / rollover functon??" by TINCUP::WILLIAMS () Tue Feb 25 1997 21:51
I'm trying to find an example (with JavaScript code) of something
I've seen (but now cannot find), where you move the mouse cursor over
something (e.g., an image of the word "Products"), and you see a
floating list (another image, with, e.g., a list of products).
I believe this might be either a rollover function for image
replacement, or perhaps a rollon/rolloff function ......
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
thanks,
Howard

Have at look at the source for the www.digital.com home page. It
gives a nice example of the rollover function.....

| See the "Site Plan" frame at http://www.alchemy-computing.co.uk/ for an extreme
example of this. (Actually it's clicking rather than moving the mouse, but still
interesting.)
